To help people in need, with focus over the ones who cannot help themselves, we (the Water Literacy Foundation) rely on your donation. Your contribution helps us to go further in fighting water problems, especially in rural areas. For each donation, we associate a project that we elaborate together with you.

Examples, how your donation could be used:

1. For a donation amount of INR 5,500, you finance an awareness program for 5 to 10 farmers, for INR 15,000 an awareness program for 10 to 25 farmers and for a donation of INR 20,000, you finance an awareness program for about 50 farmers.
2. For a donation amount of INR 20,000 to 50,000, we are able to realize a rainwater harvesting system for a school.
3. For a donation amount of INR 25,000, we can help a farmer by building a simple rainwater harvesting system with pit and trench and compartment bunding system for a small farm(2 to 3 acres).
4. For a donation amount of INR 75,000, we are able to realize a proper bore-well recharging system with agricultural ponds and bore-well recharging unit for a medium farm.
5. For a donation amount of INR 5,00,000, we provide drinking water to one village by realizing a village rainwater harvesting project or we are able to sustain the drinking water supply for one village through a stream water harvesting system.
6. Community driven rain water and grey water harvesting pilot project for rural people. INR 35,00,000 for an entire village.

Many people all over India suffer because of water scarcity and a shortage of drinking water. Against this background, every donation, however small, is needed and very welcome. Your donation is vital to the contribution of our work.
